Acoustic plaster

Pleasant acoustics with a smooth finish. Acoustic plaster improves the acoustics of any room. This exclusive product has been developed in-house and is only offered by Acosorb. Our plasterwork is completely seamless and can be applied directly to the architectural substrate or to a lowered construction. The plaster consists of acoustic board material which is seamlessly finished with an acoustically transparent layer of plaster. This reduces sound energy and creates a pleasant acoustic environment.

 

Acosorb acoustic plaster is available in two thicknesses: 3mm and 32mm, with a smooth surface in the color of your choice. We have recently added gold and silver plastic to our range.

What is acoustic plaster?

Acoustical plaster is a type of wall or ceiling finish that has sound-absorbing qualities. This material appears as a solid, smooth surface. Acoustic plaster is frequently used in both residential and commercial environments. It helps to reduce noise levels. This makes it an ideal option for homes, restaurants, museums, atriums and other venues where echo and other sounds need to be controlled.

Available colors

Acosorb acoustic plaster is available in a wide range of colors. In addition to our standard white product, it is also possible to produce plasterwork in a customized color. In this case pigment is added to the plaster and then applied.

Maintenance

Acosorb acoustic plaster is easy to clean, for example by using a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush. The soft brush ensures that the walls and ceilings are not damaged. We will be happy to provide you with full maintenance instructions when we apply the plaster.

Characteristics of our sound absorbing plasterwork

The acoustic plaster has a smooth surface and is applied in two different sizes. With a layer of just 32mm you can achieve aw = 0.95.

 

  • The base of the plaster consists of a mineral wool sheet. The board material is finished with a smooth acoustic plaster layer in a single phase
  • The plaster is a mineral plaster
  • The product is fully bonded, therefore a total construction of 35mm should be taken into account
  • Optimizes the lifespan and fire safety of rooms
  • Measured in accordance with the NEN-EN-ISO 354:2003 standard
  • VOC emission ISO 11890-2:2013-VOC
  • Antimicrobial activity ASTM G21-15
  • Fungal resistance BS1982 part 0-3:1982
